Night of the Comet will be screening at Midnight on Thursday 1 April as part of Norwescon 33, the North West’s Premier Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention. The Convention runs from 1-4 April 2010 at the DoubleTree Hotel Seattle Airport 18740 International Boulevard, SeaTac, WA 98188. The Convention also includes a Zombie walk on the Thursday and three Zombie Discussion Panals on the Fridayand more on the Saturday. See the Norwescon website for full details.
Zane and Brea Grant recorded a limited edition EP, Zombii 2: Brea and Zane Sing Their Hits, which they gave away free from their signing table at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con to promote their new zombie comic We Will Bury You. The CD features their own lo-fi tracks homaging their favourite zombie films, including Night of the Comet. section of the site.
The Music Box Theatre in Chicago will present a midnight screening of Night of the Comet on Friday 26 March (Saturday 27 March) as part of their Midnight Movies schedule.

Night of the Comet star Catherine Mary Stewart [Reggie] will be a Guest at this year’s HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis. The three-day event will take place on 26-28 March 2010 at the Marriott Indianapolis East. Tickets are from $17.50 for a single day pass. Other guests at the event will include George A Romero, Clive Barker, Doug Bradley, Tom Savini and many more. Film screenings will include an uncut version of Clive Barker’s Nightbreed and a sneek peek at the forthcoming Nightmare on Elm Street.
Fans of the Night of the Comet soundtrack will be excited to learn that a previously unreleased song from the film, I’ll Take the Blame, written and recorded by Thom Pace, is now available direct from the artist himself. Thom Pace is selling a compliation CD, Slices of the Past & Future, through his eBay store that collects together unreleased songs and demos from his career. Included on amongst it’s tracks is I’ll Take the Blame, this is the song that’s playing on the radio while Reggie and Larry are making-out in the projection booth the night of the comet. Although the original recording was lost, Thom re-recorded the track in 1999 to be as identical to the original as possible. Soundtrack completists looking for the track, please support the artist and order direct from Thom Pace himself. As well as receiving a custom made compliation CD, buyers will also recieve a Bonus CD of Demo tracks, the Compliation album itself will be custom made for each buyer and signed with a personal message, in addition, a specially recorded personal audio greeting will also be included on the CD mentioning the buyer’s name. The Downtown Independent cinema in Los Angeles will be screening a 35mm print of Night of the Comet on Monday 5 April as part of their monthly Mondo Mondays series of cult classics! Night of the Comet acress Kelli Maroney [Samantha] will be there to introduce the film. Doors open at 9pm with the movie starting at 10pm. There will be a pre-show DJ with wine and beer available.

Central Cinema, Seattle’s only dine-in cinema, presents a screening of Night of the Comet as part of their Badmovieart series. The film will be showing at 7pm on Monday 22 March and tickets are $6.

The Spider House patio bar and cafe (2908 Fruth St. Austin), in association with I Luv Video, will be screening Night of the Comet as part of its Double Feature Midnight Movies. Night of the Comet will be showing on Sunday 7 March 2010, after a screening of Tank Girl. The films start at 9pm and there are several drinks promotions on offer.
